Privacy policy and terms: the minimum to sell online

Payment platforms, app stores and corporate clients check that a privacy policy and terms of use exist before granting access. Missing them delays approvals and kills conversion.

The privacy policy must state what data you collect, why, who you share it with, how long you keep it and how users exercise their rights. The terms define what the service is, what is prohibited, and how billing, refunds and cancellation work.

The classic mistake is copying another company's document. The text ends up describing features you don't have and data processing you don't do — worse than having no document at all.

Pactum generates both documents from your actual business model, drafted in English, on the same legal base and with consistent language.
